Great looking chair. but. It broke in less than two months. It doesn't roll well on carpet . The seat and upper part of the chair looks and probably is sturdy. The wheels and base were made of thin plastic..The chair is rated as able to support 400 lbs. I weigh 260. One wheel broke away from the chairs base . Then another.Chair arms are not designed for bigger people. I have it extended the fathers it can go. But feel cramped. Back is interesting getting used to it. But may be returning this item.I ordered this one since my wife took my first chair I I ordered. The only negative thing. As you see in the photo I have a cushion on the seat. I am 6’4” and the seat is perfectly built for a big boy or gal. I think I was not 300 pounds it might not be as bad. Don’t get me wrong it is cushioned but firm. It being new it may be a little more forgiving. I will update as it gets some more use out of it. First 12 hour shift and I am not a happy camper. Well here is the update the cushion is not that bad but as you can see in the photo the base gave. I am not happy about it. If the base can be replaced with something more sturdy I will change my rating. only a few months in and the reclining function gave out. Biggest junk i have bought!!!!This chair base is cheap plastic that breaks easily. I'm disappointed because the chair itself is comfortable, but both the original chair and replacement chair broke in the same manner. Disassembly and repackaging is not easy.UPDATE: this is a defective item. Do not purchase. So far, the two originals and one replacement have broken in the same manner.Thought the chair was great, but only lasted two months before one of the legs on the base cracked and split the end, losing ability to retain that wheel. Now it’s useless. I’m nowhere near the claimed weight limit of this chair, buyer beware.chair only lasted a week before breaking, the cheap plastic that held the wheels broke shortly after arrival. and now a few months after ordering the lever that controls leaning back is busted now and I cant lock the chair in place. This is one of the worse office chairs for sale on Amazon. Avoid this chair like it has the plagueAt first it worked great and less than a week later, two legs broke and I am no where near the weight limited! Terrible product and I won't buy this company's products if at all possible.Chair broke after 3 months while I was sitting in it.
