I'm 5'4", about 250 lbs and the 3x fits well. with the pant legs rolled, it's perfect. I could definitely fit clothes on underneath, and would recommend doing that (or wearing long underwear) if you're my size and have thighs because the crotch is a bit low for me. the material feels similar to scrubs. the pockets are deep too- closure is 2 snaps and zipper. pretty good coveralls!Well made.I use these over my shorts in the shop in the summer.I'm a big guy - 5'10" 340 lb. Big across the shoulders and chest with a well cared for beer gut. I usually wear a 2x or 3x in T-shirts and sweatshirts so I thought I'd go with a 3x for these coveralls. Not only were they tight to zip up, they were tight and hard to get up on shoulders - just tight all over. I sent them back and ordered 4x. Nice and roomy - zips over my beer investment and fits nice around chest and shoulders. Some room to spare- can probably wear a sweatshirt or 2 underneath for the cold weather. As for now in the summer - light and comfy with room to stretch and bend. I worked 6 hours under hood and underneath car on a hot day and the coveralls move nicely with me. Great suit if you can get the size that fits you right.Length okay. I thought the waist would be a bit larger.Fits but the waist is high!It is perfect for the everyday do it yourself person nice material easy to clean the only down fall is that that the legs are longer than it should beThese are good coveralls can have room in the midsection and the thighs! I can cross my legs without feeling like the legs are strangling me, big thighs guys rejoicemy husband & I always struggle to find reasonably priced coverall, he's 6'4 250lbs, ordered 3xl tall & it's perfect, it allows him to move freely & comfortably.6'4" 230lb, fits just a little big.
